Greetings!
Thank you for being part of the Worship
Design Studio Experience Houston! We had another wonderful gathering for
the second Tuesday night workshop on Verbal Arts.
As promised, I have uploaded the recordings from the workshop
as well as the handouts and slides and they are now available for you
to access. If there are those in your church that were not able to be
there on Tuesday night, please forward these links to them. Please
do not forward to anyone outside of your church (i.e. other churches).
These are for your use only as a benefit of your registration to this
series of workshops.
The recording can be watched HERE
Download a PDF of the slides and the handouts HERE
Be sure to make a note of the recording
link so you can have this resource as an archive and refer back to it
anytime you need to train someone new! There are also other Verbal Arts
resources in the Worship Design Studio online that you have access to this month!
See you Tuesday at the Music Arts workshop!
All workshops are held at:
Atascocita Presbyterian Church, 19426 Atasca Oaks Dr., Humble, TX 77346
Tuesday, November 18 (7-9pm) Music Arts:
music directors, accompanists, band members, choir members,
instrumentalists, soloists, small ensemble members as well as anyone who
benefit from knowing more about why we resonate with different kinds of
music in worship.
Let folks know that this is going to be fun, inspirational and practical. If you would like a little blurb from me to put in your invitation, here it is:
“Greetings! Dr. Marcia McFee here.
Your church is participating in a series of workshops with me during
Lent . Over 5 weeks, we will cover everything WORSHIP! I believe that
creating meaningful and memorable worship is a wonderful way to be in
ministry together. And I believe it can be fun, inspirational and
spiritually rewarding to work with a team of people who are planning and
carrying that out. These workshops will be hands-on, practical, and
fun. Even if you are new to this, come and explore the possibilities!”
